Dear Welker Family,
Ed (Eddie as I remember him) and I were classmates and friends in grades one through twelve. After about fifty years, we became reacquainted through social media, and I learned how much he enjoyed his children and his two special grandchildren. I am sure you have many happy memories of him to cherish. I remember him as always smiling, always ready with a joke and a friendly barb about my being way too liberal.
I wish you well and am sorry for your loss.

My condolences to Ed’s family. I remember Eddie from our twelve years of school together. He was a very friendly guy and fun to be around …….. until he beat me at golf. That part I would rather forget, but not the rest. I haven’t seen Ed, except in social media, for 50+ years. He was a great guy and will not be forgotten.
